Has anyone noticed that Sideswipe's colour scheme changes throughout the G1 cartoon? In some episodes, he has white forearms with red panels attached, like this:




And in other episodes, his forearms are entirely red:




Weird much.

So I was up at the cottage for a week and we went out to this tiny little hick-town to do groceries and what-not. Just for the heck of it, I stick my head into a toystore (no TF Universe toys though) and I saw the most amazing monopoly set I have ever seen. Generation 1 Transformers Monopoly. It was beautiful. There was spaces like "The Ark' and "Old Maccadam's Oil House", and I almost bought it. There was a movieverse chess-set too, though, for obvious reasons, it was not as cool.
Not posting any fics this time, though I do have some stuff to post. The latest prompt is up at ff.net, and has been for a while, but I haven't gotten around to putting it here yet. Probably going to happen some time tomorrow!

Squee! I've finally been added to the fanfic100 Big Damn Table!

The mod didn't realize that there was already a "Transformers" category, and added a "Transformers 1984" for no apparent reason. My claim is the only one in said category. *Snicker* I haven't decided on whether or not I should tell them, it's not that big a deal, and it makes me giggle.

Oh my.
I have definitely been reading way to much Transformers fanfiction.

Exhibit A: I hit the "Latest Headlines" feed on my browser window, and started scrolling down the list of news articles. The word "overload" caught my eye and I did a serious double-take. For a few split-seconds, I actually thought that the article had something to do with Transformers doing the horizontal hula! Of course it had nothing to do with that.

Exhibit B: Whenever I see a green jeep on the road (and I see a lot of 'em) I point and say "Hey look! It's Hound!". This wouldn't be so bad if my habit wasn't spreading. See Exhibit C below.

Exhibit C: Everytime my mom spots a red or blue semi truck on the highway, she says:

i) "Look! It's Maximum Primer!"
ii) "Isn't that the truck from the movie?"

And the best one so far:

iii) "Look! It's that OptiMega Primal thing!"

Yeah.

So I'm still waiting on that fanfic100 thing. 30 days is a long time to wait. I hope it doesn't end up taking that much time.

Woot! I've seen fanfic100 stuffers all over the place, and I've finally taken the plunge and applied for a claim! I've got to wait a while before it'll get confirmed though...which may take a while. I applied to do the twins from Transformers, and hopefully it'll get accepted. If it does, well I've got my work cut out for me! 100 fanfics!
If it goes through, I'll be posting here and on my account at fanfiction.net.

...and now I wait.
